We’re Here When You Need Us
At 28 pounds, the BravePro BRPA180H is the auger one person can actually run all day. It drills holes from 2 to 8 inches wide and up to 30 inches deep — fence posts, deck footings, sign posts, tree and shrub planting, soil sampling — in normal soil conditions, without a second operator on the other handle.
Two features do the work. Power-GRIP handles damp the vibration that makes a long day with a one-man auger miserable, and Auger-LOK gets a stuck bit back out of the ground instead of leaving you to dig it free by hand. Anyone who has buried a bit in clay knows what that is worth.
A Honda GX35 turns the bit at 166 RPM with 51 ft-lbs of torque through an all-metal centrifugal clutch and an enclosed, grease-lubricated spur gear transmission. Bit control is a Magura twist grip.
