A tote lifter is designed for open-bottom skids, boxes, baskets and totes — not standard closed-bottom pallets. If your loads sit on ordinary pallets, a stacker or pallet truck is the right machine and we'd rather tell you that now. Note also that the stainless version is rated 2,000 lb where the painted-steel L-270-DC-HD carries 3,000 lb — check your heaviest load before choosing.
