We’re Here When You Need Us
The OMGA Stop is a numerically controlled length positioner that retrofits onto machines you already own. It is not a saw. It is the fence stop that drives itself to the next programmed length, so the operator loads, cuts, and the stop has already moved before they look up.
It works with up-cut saws, radial arm saws, table saws, drills, mitre saws and double mitre saws. If you are running a cut list by hand with a tape and a clamp-on stop, this is the piece that turns that station into a production cell — and it does it without replacing the machine.
A brushless motor drives the carriage at up to 200 feet per minute along a precision linear encoder, holding position to ±0.004". The controller stores up to 500 programs and ships with three software packages: Pusher Basic, Advanced Pusher and Picture Frame. Connectivity is unusually generous for shop equipment — two USB, two RS232 and an RJ45 Ethernet port, so cut lists can come off a network or a memory stick rather than being keyed in.
This is the one OMGA machine that does not need three-phase power. It runs on 110V or 220V single phase, which means almost any shop can take one regardless of service.
Choosing a Size and Hand
The number is the useable traverse in feet — the longest piece the stop can position. Choose the hand by which side of your machine the infeed runs: the stop mounts to the left or the right of the cutting head, and they are not interchangeable. If you are unsure, send us a photo of your setup and we will confirm before ordering.
| Model | Useable traverse | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| OMGA Stop 6 | 6' | Short parts, frame stock, small shop footprint |
| OMGA Stop 10 | 10' | General cabinet and millwork lengths |
| OMGA Stop 13 | 13' | Long millwork and trim runs |
| OMGA Stop 16 | 16' | Full-length stock without repositioning |
| OMGA Stop 22 | 22' | Timber, architectural and structural lengths |
Key Features & Benefits
- Retrofits Existing Machines – up-cut, radial arm, table, mitre and double mitre saws, and drills. Your saw stays; the stop does the measuring
- ±0.004" Positioning Accuracy – on a precision linear encoder, not a counted belt
- 200 FPM Traverse – the stop is in position before the operator is ready for the next cut
- 500 Programs Stored – recurring cut lists get recalled, not re-entered
- Three Software Packages Included – Pusher Basic, Advanced Pusher and Picture Frame
- USB and Ethernet – 2 × USB, 2 × RS232, 1 × RJ45, so cut lists load from a network or a stick
- Single Phase – 110V or 220V, unlike every other OMGA machine
- Brushless Motor – 0.66 kW (0.9 HP), no brushes to service
- Built in Italy – manufactured by DIERREGI S.r.l. under the OMGA brand, sold and serviced from South Bend, Indiana

What's Included
- One OMGA Stop in the traverse length and hand selected above
- Precision linear encoder system
- Pusher Basic, Advanced Pusher and Picture Frame software
- Mounting brackets and the table/legs stand are separate — see below
What You Also Need
The Stop on its own is a carriage and a controller. To put it to work you need three things: a table for it to travel on, a bracket that ties that table to your machine, and a link kit that wires the two together safely.
- Table and Legs — 6', 10', 13', 16' or 22'. Match it to your Stop's length.
- Basic Bracket with Shock Absorber — the pusher head that touches your workpiece. Right or left hand
- Then one machine bracket: for mitre chop saws · for radial arm saws · 45° bracket for the V 235
- Safety & Link Kit — mitre, up-cut or generic. 🔑 The V 235 bracket already includes one
Optional Extras
- Tail Clamp Attachment — vertical or horizontal, holds the far end of long stock
- Bar Code Reader — scan a work order straight into the controller
- Label Printer — peel-off part labels at the saw
Not sure which bracket or kit your machine takes? Tell us the machine and we will confirm it with OMGA before anything ships. Ordering everything together also puts it all on one freight quote, which is far cheaper than shipping small parts separately.
