We’re Here When You Need Us

A ride-on trowel is the difference between finishing a large pour on schedule and still working the slab at midnight. The BT1200H35TC covers a 100 in. troweling path in a single pass on twin 46 in. pans — roughly four times the coverage of a 36 in. walk-behind, with the operator seated instead of walking the slab all day.

This is the High Rider version of Beton Trowel's 1200 platform, meaning the seat sits up high and the operator looks down across both rotors and the concrete ahead of them. Blade pitch is set with a manual crank that can be adjusted without stopping the machine, so the operator can open the blades up as the slab tightens rather than climbing off between passes. Steering is a pair of ergonomic twin levers — mechanical, direct, and nothing hydraulic to leak or lose feel.

Underneath, this machine is built for commercial hours rather than weekend work: a CVT torque clutch, a BLM heavy-duty shoe clutch running three drive belts, and heavy-duty reduction gearboxes that Beton Trowel backs with a 24-month gearbox warranty — double the machine's general warranty. That is the manufacturer telling you where the machine's life is spent.

Key Features & Benefits

  • 100 in. (2,540 mm) troweling path — one pass covers what a 36 in. walk-behind needs four for
  • Twin 46 in. (1,170 mm) float pans, two non-overlapping rotors, 10 blades total on two 5-blade spiders
  • Briggs & Stratton Vanguard 35 HP V-twin — air-cooled gasoline, the commercial-duty Vanguard series, not a consumer engine
  • Pitch adjusts on the move — manual crank handle, no stopping to re-set the blades
  • High Rider seating — raised, adjustable seat with a clear sightline over both rotors
  • Four work lights standard — night pours and interior slabs without rigging site lighting
  • Water spray system standard — retardant or water applied from the seat
  • Electrical dead-man switch on the right steering lever — release it and the engine stops
  • Fork pockets and four crane sling points — it gets on and off the slab the way the job needs
  • Hour meter standard, adjustable seat, drink holder and hand-trowel holder
  • 24-month gearbox warranty, 12-month general warranty

Weight note: Beton Trowel publishes 490 kg (1,080 lbs) on its product page and 480 kg (1,058 lbs) in the current machine manual. We publish the heavier of the two so nobody plans a lift or a trailer around the lighter number. Beton Trowel does not publish a crated shipping weight for this machine.

Fuel tank capacity is not published by Beton Trowel and we will not guess at it. Ask and we will get the figure from the factory.

What's Included

  • BT1200H35TC ride-on power trowel

Blade type is a choice, not an assumption. Finish, wide finish and float shoe blades are all available, and float pans are a separate item. Tell us what you are pouring when you order and we will confirm the blade configuration with the factory rather than shipping you the wrong set.

Operation Video

Beton Trowel has not published footage of the 35 HP Vanguard unit specifically. This is the factory's own video of the BT1200 High Rider series panning a slab — the same chassis, seating position, twin 46 in. pans and controls. The machine filmed is fitted with the 44 HP turbo diesel engine rather than the Vanguard 35 HP gas engine on this listing; everything else you see is identical.

Shipping

This machine ships by freight. Shipping is quoted to your exact address and confirmed with you before anything is charged — we do not estimate freight. Tell us on the quote form whether the delivery site has a forklift or a loading dock, because that changes the rate more than the distance does.
