The JET JDP-20EVST-460 is a 20-inch electronic variable speed drill press with tapping, built for 460V three-phase shop power. A 2 HP TEFC motor runs through an inverter, with spindle speed variable across two ranges, 65 to 540 and 245 to 2,000 RPM, and shown on an LED RPM display.
It drills 1-3/8 inch in mild steel and 1-1/2 inch in cast iron, and taps 3/4 inch in mild steel and 7/8 inch in cast iron. The MT-3 spindle has 6 inches of travel.
Drill/Tap Mode
A mode switch selects drilling or tapping. In tapping mode a lower limit switch reverses the spindle to back the tap out, and a reverse button is active.
Coolant and Light
A built-in coolant system with a 2-gallon tank and flexible nozzle and a work light come standard.
