We’re Here When You Need Us
Renting a mini excavator for a weekend costs real money, and it means a second machine on the trailer. This backhoe turns the skid steer you already own into a digging machine — 6 ft. 8 in. of digging depth on a universal quick-attach plate, on and off in a couple of minutes.
It is built like the loader it hangs off. The boom is quarter-inch steel, box-framed rather than open channel, so it resists twisting when you are prying at a root or a buried rock instead of digging clean soil. The quick-attach plate is 5/16 in. steel, and the cylinder is a 3 in. bore with a 16 in. stroke rated to 3,500 PSI — the top of the range for standard skid steer auxiliary hydraulics.
A 12 in. bucket with two replaceable teeth is included, and the hoses come already fitted with flat-face couplers — 8 ft. and 9 ft., sleeve-protected so they do not chafe through against the boom. Nothing extra to buy before the first job.

What the manufacturer does not publish, and we will not invent: reach, swing arc, stabilizer legs, and whether a seat or control station is included are not stated in any GreyWolf document. Neither is the required GPM — only the 3,500 PSI maximum. If you are matching this to a specific machine or a specific trench, ask us and we will put the question to the manufacturer before you order. The 630 lb figure is published without being labelled as either shipping or bare weight.
