GreyWolf Double Quick Attach Grapple — Adds a Grapple to a Bucket You Already Own

Read this first, because it is not a grapple bucket. This is a double quick attach — it mounts between your loader arms and an attachment you already own, turning a plain bucket into a grapple bucket. You keep the bucket you have; you add the ability to hold what is in it.

That is the whole point of the design. A dedicated grapple bucket means buying a second bucket and swapping between them. This clamps brush, logs, scrap and debris down into whatever is already on the machine, and when you do not need it, it comes off and your bucket is a bucket again.

The tines are 5/8 in. thick with 3/8 in. web gusseting — the gussets are what keep a tine from folding sideways when you catch a log off-centre, which is how most grapples die. The plate is 5/16 in. steel, the cylinder is a 2 in. bore x 6 in. stroke rated to 3,000 PSI, and the hoses ship with flat-face couplers already fitted.

Because it sandwiches between the loader and your existing attachment, the attachment it clamps onto must have 4.5 in. or less from its top surface to the upper inner corner of the quick-attach lip. Most standard buckets clear this easily; some high-back and heavy-duty buckets do not. Measure yours, or send us a photo and the make and model, and we will check it for you before anything ships. This is the single most common reason one of these goes back.

Specifications

Two conflicts in the published data, reported honestly rather than papered over. Some sellers list this at 26 in. long and 3,500 PSI; the manufacturer's own 2022 specification sheet says 36 in. and 3,000 PSI, and we publish the manufacturer's figures. If your hydraulics run above 3,000 PSI, ask us and we will confirm the rating with them in writing before you order. Also not published anywhere: tine count, tine spacing, grapple opening, cylinder count and required GPM — we will not guess at any of them. The 620 lb figure is published without being labelled shipping or bare weight.
