Cut a sapling off at the ground and it comes back. Usually with three stems instead of one. Pulling it out with the root ball is the only removal that actually ends the job, and it is why fence lines, pasture edges and overgrown lots get cleared twice by people who mowed them the first time.
This jaw grips up to a 9 in. trunk, closes on it, and lets the loader's own lift do the pulling. No cutting, no stump left behind, no herbicide, no coming back next spring. It works the same way on fence posts and steel T-posts, which is the other job it quietly earns its keep on.
The frame is 3 in. x 3 in. square tubing in 3/8 in. steel, on a 5/16 in. quick-attach plate. The cylinder is a 3 in. bore x 8 in. stroke rated to 3,500 PSI, and it arrives with hoses and flat-face couplers fitted — plug it into the auxiliary hydraulics and go.

Two notes in the interest of not surprising you. The jaw opening is not published separately from the 9 in. maximum trunk capacity — you will see sellers quote "9 in. jaw opening," but that is just the trunk figure restated, and we will not present it as a measured spec. Required GPM is not published either, only the 3,500 PSI maximum. The 420 lb figure is published without being labelled shipping or bare weight; one seller quotes "approximately 475–500 lbs with pallet," which appears nowhere else and which we are not repeating.
