MechMaxx 0831V 8" x 16" Benchtop Metal Lathe
The MechMaxx 0831V is a benchtop metal lathe with a 1.5 HP (1.1 kW) brushless DC motor that runs on 110V single-phase power. It swings 8-1/4 in. (210 mm) over the bed and holds 15-3/4 in. (400 mm) between centers.
Speed is variable from 0 to 2,500 RPM in two electronically controlled ranges, with a digital RPM display. The one-piece spindle has a 1-1/2 in. (38 mm) bore and an MT5 taper, and it runs on tapered roller bearings.
Two Variable Speed Ranges
Low range runs 0-1,250 RPM and high range 0-2,500 RPM, set with a speed control knob.
Inch and Metric Threading
Change gears and a thread dial indicator let it cut both inch and metric threads.
