The MechMaxx PB4816 is a manual pan and box brake with a 48 in. (1,220 mm) working width. It bends mild steel up to 16 gauge (1.5 mm) from 0 to 135°, using a counterweighted bending leaf.
Sixteen removable fingers in 2, 3 and 4 in. widths set up boxes, pans and channels. The welded steel frame bolts to a level floor or a heavy-duty stand.
16 Removable Fingers
Five 2 in., six 3 in. and five 4 in. fingers. Remove or rearrange them to clear flanges on boxes and pans.
Repeatable Bends
A stop collar on the guide rod presets the bend so repeated parts come out the same.

Does the PB4816 need power?
No. It is a manual brake with a counterweighted bending leaf. You clamp with the eccentric handles and bend by hand.
Does it need a stand?
MechMaxx says to bolt it to a level floor or a heavy-duty stand using the mounting holes in the side supports, with at least 36 in. (90 cm) of clearance around it.
How many fingers does it have?
Sixteen removable fingers: five 2 in., six 3 in. and five 4 in.
What maintenance does it need?
The manual calls for SAE 30 non-detergent oil on the bending leaf pivots, clamping handle pivots and link bearings once a month.
What is the warranty?
