Baileigh BS-10VS 10-Inch Portable Variable-Speed Dual-Miter Band Saw, 1 HP 115V
The BS-10VS is a portable metal-cutting band saw with a swivel head that miters to 45° in both directions. It cuts up to 10 in. round stock at 90° and runs a 1 HP motor through an inverter on 115V single-phase power.
Capacity at 90° reaches 8 x 9 in. rectangle and 8 x 8 in. square, with 6.5 in. round at 45°. Electronic variable speed lets you match blade speed to the material, and a hydraulic cylinder controls head descent.
Dual Mitering Without Moving Stock
The head swivels left or right up to 45°, so angled cuts on both ends of a part can be made without repositioning the workpiece.
Horizontal and Vertical Cutting
Baileigh describes the saw as working in both horizontal and vertical cutting modes, with a quick-locking vise to hold the work.
