The BS-300M is a 10-inch class horizontal band saw for metal fabrication shops that run on single-phase power. Its 2 HP motor runs on 240V, 1-phase, 60 Hz and cuts round, square and rectangular stock up to 9.84 in. at 90°.
Rectangular capacity is 9.84 x 16.33 in. at 90° and 9.84 x 7.5 in. at 45°. The belt-and-pulley drive gives four blade speeds from 82 to 235 fpm, and the vise miters from 0 to 45°.
Hydraulic Descent Control
A hydraulic cylinder controls how fast the bow comes down, giving a steady feed through the cut.
Coolant and Automatic Shut-Off
A flood coolant system is standard, and the saw shuts off automatically when the cut is complete.

What power does the BS-300M need?
240V, 1-phase, 60 Hz. The 2 HP motor draws 11 A at full load; the manual calls for a time-delay fuse or breaker rated slightly above that.
What blade does it use?
A 1 in. wide x 130 in. long band. A blade comes installed on the saw.
How are miter cuts made?
The vise swivels from 0 to 45°. At 45° the saw cuts up to 7.5 in. round or square stock.
What is the warranty?
