Baileigh BS-916M 8.85-Inch Horizontal Band Saw, 4-Speed, 45-Degree Miter, 1.5 HP 240V 1Ph
The BS-916M is a belt-and-pulley drive horizontal band saw with a mitering vise. A 1.5 HP motor on 240V single-phase power cuts 8.85 in. round or square and 8.85 x 13.5 in. rectangular stock at 90 degrees.
At a 45-degree miter it cuts 6.5 in. round or square and 8.85 x 6.5 in. rectangular. Moving the belt on the pulleys selects one of four blade speeds: 82, 132, 170 or 235 FPM.
Hydraulic Bow Descent
A hydraulic cylinder controls descent speed, with a variable control valve and a separate on/off valve to start or hold the bow.
Built-In Coolant System
The coolant tank sits in the base, with a sight gauge for level and a return tray with filter screens.
