The PL-1236E-1.0 is a geared head metal lathe for small machine shops, maintenance departments and fabrication shops. It swings 12 in. over the bed, holds 36 in. between centers and runs on 220V single-phase power.
The geared headstock covers 70 to 1400 RPM, and the bed has a 6 in. gap. Inch threads from 4 to 56 TPI and metric threads from 0.4 to 7 mm are cut from an 8 TPI leadscrew.
Rigid Cast-Iron Base
A heavy cast-iron base and precision-ground bed ways keep the machine stable while cutting.
Gear-Driven Feeds
Longitudinal and cross feeds are gear driven, and the lathe handles general turning, facing and threading.
