The OMGA RN series are precision radial arm saws for furniture makers, frame shops, sawmills and carpentry shops — the kind of machine that lives at the end of a bench and cuts everything that comes through the door. Three sizes share the same build: the RN 450 with a 12" blade and 4 HP, and the larger RN 700 and RN 900 with 14" blades and 5 HP.
What separates these from a job-site radial arm saw is the carriage. It rides on eight bearings running on interchangeable steel tracks, and each bearing carries a dust scraper so the track stays clean as the saw is pulled through cut after cut. Tracks that stay clean are tracks that stay accurate, and when they eventually wear, they are replaceable rather than terminal. The main angle positions lock by self-centering, so the common angles are repeatable without measuring.
Choose the size by the cut you need. The RN 450 crosscuts 17 3/4" and rips 26 3/4". The RN 700 goes to 27 1/2" crosscut and 36 5/8" rip. The RN 900 reaches 35 5/16" crosscut and 44 1/2" rip — wide enough for sheet-width work. All three turn at 3,200 RPM with a 1" arbor bore, bevel stops from 0 to 45° and mitre stops at 45-0-45. OMGA machines are built in Italy by DIERREGI S.r.l. and supported from OMGA Industries in South Bend, Indiana.
Three-phase power required. These machines are available in 208V, 230V or 460V three phase only — there is no single-phase version. Select your model and voltage above before ordering; the machine is built to the voltage you choose and it cannot be changed afterward. If your shop is on single-phase service you will need a phase converter to run one of these saws.
Key Features & Benefits
- Eight-Bearing Carriage – the saw carriage rides on eight bearings rather than a sliding way, which is where the cut quality comes from
- Dust Scrapers on the Bearings – the steel tracks and bearings stay clean through the shift instead of packing with sawdust
- Interchangeable Steel Tracks – tracks are a replaceable wear item, so the machine is rebuildable rather than disposable
- Self-Centering Angle Locking – the main angles are found and held repeatably
- Bevel 0–45°, Mitre 45-0-45 – positive stops on every model in the series
- Three Capacities – 17 3/4", 27 1/2" or 35 5/16" crosscut, so you buy the reach you actually need
- Dado Capable – 1 1/2" maximum dado on the RN 700 and RN 900
- Built in Italy – manufactured by DIERREGI S.r.l. under the OMGA brand, sold and serviced in North America from South Bend, Indiana
