We’re Here When You Need Us
The TR 2B I is the top of OMGA's double mitre line and the only one whose heads tilt. Everything else in the family mitres; this one mitres and bevels in the same cycle, on both ends of the piece at once. For anything that meets at a corner in two planes — angled frame work, splayed casework, architectural millwork — that is the difference between one operation and four.
It runs the largest blades in the family at 370 mm (roughly 15") on two 4 HP motors, cutting 6 3/4" wide at 90° and a full 6 3/4" on a bevelled cross cut. Distance between the saws runs from 23 5/8" to 9'2". The left head is fixed and the right traverses, with positive locking at 90° and 45° and manual locking in between.
This is a heavy machine at 1,753 lbs. If you do not need compound capability, the TR 2B gives you nearly the same cross cut for considerably less.
Three-phase power and compressed air required. Available in 230V or 460V three phase only — there is no single-phase version. Clamping is pneumatic, so the machine needs a compressed air supply. Select your version and voltage above before ordering; the machine is built to the voltage you choose.
Which Version
- TR 2B I INT VIS – includes a digital display of the distance between saw blades.
- TR 2B I INT NC – includes an NC positioner that drives the head to the programmed distance automatically, plus two horizontal pneumatic clamps not fitted to the VIS version.
There is no hand-positioned version of this model — both builds come with length measurement as standard.
