The Baileigh SH-120250-HD is a hydraulic plate shear with a 122 in. shear length, rated for 1/4 in. mild steel and 0.118 in. (3 mm) stainless steel. Its 10 HP main motor runs on 220V 3-phase power.
It makes 14 to 45 strokes per minute with up to 32,597 lbf of cutting force. A motorized back gauge, run by a YSD6000s numerical control, positions from 0.4 to 29.5 in., and the shear ships at 14,560 lb.
Programmable Back Gauge
The control runs single-step or multi-step programs of up to 25 steps with a workpiece counter, and a variable frequency drive slows the gauge as it nears the target.
Rake and Gap Adjustment
The blade rake is set with pushbuttons and read on a digital display, and the blade gap is set with a hand wheel and pointer.
