Baileigh SH-5216A 52-Inch Pneumatic Sheet Metal Shear, 16-Gauge Mild Steel, Air Powered
The Baileigh SH-5216A is an air-powered sheet metal shear with a 52 in. shear length. It is rated for 16 gauge mild steel and 20 gauge stainless steel, and it cycles at 20 strokes per minute.
A pneumatic foot pedal in a pedestal fires the cut, spring-loaded hold-downs clamp the sheet, and a manual back gauge with a dial indicator sets repeat lengths. Front and back gauge lengths are 24 in. each, and the shear ships at 1,588 lb.
Air Operation
The shear runs on shop compressed air through its air control unit. Baileigh lists 90 to 115 PSI, and the manual warns never to connect a supply above 120 PSI.
Multi-Edge Blades
The top blade has two usable edges and the bottom blade has four, both in high carbon, high chrome tool steel.

What air supply does the SH-5216A need?
Baileigh lists 90 to 115 PSI. The manual calls for a hose of at least 3/8 in. I.D. no longer than 10 ft., and says never to connect a supply above 120 PSI.
