This Edwards package pairs the 20 ton hydraulic shop press with a 5 HP Edwards portable power unit wired for 460V three phase, so the press runs on its own without an ironworker.

It has a 6-1/4 in. stroke, a 2 in. diameter ram on a rolling cylinder and an open-sided frame of 3/8 in. steel. Overall size is 24 x 27 x 37 in.

Rolling cylinder, open sides

The rolling cylinder lets you reposition the ram over the work, and the open sides let longer material pass through the frame.

Power unit included

The bundled portable power unit has quick-connect couplings and lock-out/tag-out with E-stop, and can also run other Edwards hydraulic tools.

The included power unit is wired for 460V three phase and its 5 HP motor draws 7 A full-load at 460V (60 Hz). Edwards recommends a dedicated circuit and breaker and a certified electrician; the cord, plug and socket are owner-supplied.

Standard and custom press tooling. Edwards offers press brake tooling, a press brake tooling set, rod shear/multi-shear tooling and pipe notcher tooling as options.

How is the table height changed?

Height changes are hydraulic-assisted, using the lift chains supplied with the press.
