The RDB-175 is an electric-hydraulic rotary draw bender: hydraulic cylinders rotate the bend die clockwise and the counter die forces the tube or pipe to follow the die radius. It handles up to 2 in. Schedule 40 mild steel pipe and 2-1/2 in. OD mild steel tube, and it runs on 110V single-phase, 20 A power.

Centerline radius runs from 1/2 in. up to 9 in. depending on the material and wall, with a 1/4 in. minimum OD. It ships at 700 lb in a 68 x 60 x 44 in. package.

Bend Angle Controller with Auto-Stop

An encoder on the main spindle feeds the controller, which shows the bend angle and stops the bend at the angle you program.

Forward and Reverse Foot Pedals

Separate pedals drive the die clockwise and counter-clockwise, keeping both hands free to guide the material.

What power does the RDB-175 need?

110V AC, 20 A, single phase, 60 Hz. The manual calls for a dedicated circuit protected by a time-delay fuse or breaker, connected by a certified electrician.

What is the largest pipe and tube it bends?

2 in. Schedule 40 mild steel or aluminum pipe, 1-1/2 in. Schedule 40 stainless pipe, and 2-1/2 in. OD round tube (.125 in. wall mild steel, .156 in. wall aluminum).

Are bending dies included?

Dies are not listed among the items shipped with the machine. The manual states that a bend die and counter die are required to bend, matched to the size and shape of the material, so plan on die sets for the sizes you run.

How does the auto-stop work?
