The OMGA T 521 ST is a pneumatic up-cut pop-up saw for production length cutting and defect removal. The blade lives below the table and strokes up through the workpiece on a pneumatic feed, so the operator loads flat against a fence rather than reaching around a swinging head. It is the machine you put at the head of a line when the job is cutting stock to length all shift.
Blade feed speed is adjustable, so the stroke can be tuned to the material rather than run flat out on everything. Workpiece clamping is automatic and cycles with the blade stroke, which does two jobs at once: the stock is held before the blade arrives, and the clamp itself acts as the blade guard. The operator's hands are never near the cut.
Capacity is 12 5/8" across and 5 1/2" deep, driven by a 6 HP motor turning an 18" blade at 3,200 RPM. A 20" blade is available as an option. The machine ships complete with a Ø450 mm TCT saw blade. OMGA machines are built in Italy by DIERREGI S.r.l. and supported from OMGA Industries in South Bend, Indiana.
Three-phase power required. This machine is available in 230V or 460V three phase only — there is no single-phase version and no 208V option on this model. Select your voltage above before ordering; the machine is built to the voltage you choose and it cannot be changed afterward. If your shop is on single-phase service you will need a phase converter to run this saw. Compressed air is also required, since both the blade feed and the clamp are pneumatic.
