The JET JPJ-12B combines a 12-inch jointer and a 12-inch planer in one machine, driven by a 3 HP motor on 230V single phase. The three-knife cutterhead turns at 5,300 RPM, and a knife setting gauge is included.
As a jointer it faces stock up to 12-1/32 inches wide on 55-inch tables, taking up to 1/8 inch per pass. As a planer it handles boards up to 8-3/4 inches thick, removing up to 5/32 inch per pass at a feed rate of 16 or 26 FPM.
Changeover
The jointer tables lift out of the way to switch to planing.
Tilting Fence
The 43-1/4 inch jointer fence tilts from 90 to 45 degrees for bevels and chamfers.
