JET JPJ-12BHH 12-Inch Jointer Planer, Helical Head, 3 HP, 230V 1Ph
The JET JPJ-12BHH combines a 12-inch jointer and a 12-inch planer in one machine, driven by a 3 HP motor on 230V single phase. The helical cutterhead turns at 5,300 RPM and carries 44 four-sided carbide inserts.
As a jointer it faces stock up to 12-1/32 inches wide on 55-inch tables, taking up to 1/8 inch per pass. As a planer it handles boards up to 8-3/4 inches thick, removing up to 5/32 inch per pass at a feed rate of 16 or 26 FPM.
Changeover
The jointer tables lift out of the way to switch to planing.
Carbide Inserts
Each insert has four cutting edges; when one dulls, rotate it to a fresh edge. Ten spare inserts and screws come with the machine.
