The JET JWDS-2244 is an open-end drum sander that sands boards up to 22 inches wide in one pass and 44 inches in two, with a 5-inch drum turning 1,725 RPM on a 1-3/4 HP 115V motor.
It handles stock up to 4 inches thick and as thin as 1/32 inch on a variable 0 to 10 FPM conveyor. This kit includes JET's open stand, which puts the table 34 inches off the floor.
SandSmart Control
The SandSmart controller monitors drum motor load and adjusts the conveyor speed to keep the highest feed rate without overload; a red light flags too deep a cut or too fast a feed.
Easy Setup
A depth scale with a height handle sets the cut, and ceramic Trackers reduce conveyor belt tracking adjustments.
