The JET JWDS-2244OSC is an open-end drum sander with drum oscillation: the 23 x 5-inch drum turns 1,725 RPM and oscillates at a variable 0 to 120 strokes per minute over a 3/4-inch stroke to spread wear across the abrasive.
It sands boards up to 22 inches wide in one pass and 44 inches in two, 4 inches thick down to 1/32 inch, on a 0 to 10 FPM conveyor. This kit includes JET's closed stand with storage.
SandSmart Control
SandSmart monitors drum motor load and adjusts the conveyor to match, and a red light warns when the depth of cut or feed rate is too aggressive.
Precise Height Setting
Each handwheel turn raises the drum 1/16 inch, read on the depth scale, and ceramic Trackers reduce conveyor belt tracking adjustments.
