Same 3-inch ports and the same 110 feet of head as the GX270 machine, at 290 GPM instead of 390 and on a smaller engine. For most dewatering work that is the sensible buy — you keep the pressure you need for long hose runs and deep lifts, and you stop paying for flow you were never going to use.
It self-primes to 26 feet, so the pump sits up on the bank out of the water rather than down in it. Solids to 1-1/4 inches pass through, which covers the gravel, silt and debris that comes with trench and excavation water.
The Honda GX200 is lighter on fuel than the GX270 over a long pumping job, and at 100 lbs dry the whole machine is a comfortable one-person lift. Footprint is 25 x 20 x 19 inches — it fits in a truck bed alongside everything else.
