That single difference is why the BRPRP210H is the compactor contractors buy once they have spent a day working in a trench, around a foundation, or anywhere with a wall at one end and no room to turn a machine around.
It delivers 4,496 lbs of centrifugal force — 20 kN — at 5,400 vibrations per minute through a 23 x 15 in. plate. That is enough to compact sand, gravel and cohesive soils to spec in fewer passes than a forward plate of the same size, because the machine can work a lane in both directions instead of one.
The Honda GX160 is the reason it starts on a cold morning in year five. The wheel kit is included, not an upsell — so the machine can be rolled onto a trailer by one person instead of manhandled.
