The Hydra Buddy HBH16GX is the smallest and lightest power pack Brave builds — 133 lbs, 7 GPM at 900 PSI, on a Honda GX160. It is a high-flow, low-pressure unit, which is exactly the right specification for log splitter cylinders, small hydraulic motors, actuators and shop fixtures where you want fast cylinder travel and do not need breaker-grade pressure.
The pump is a Haldex — the same cast-iron single-stage unit used across the range and the most common pump in North American hydraulics, so parts are never a problem. The 5.6-gallon reservoir keeps the package compact.
At 133 lbs this is genuinely a one-man move with a hand truck, and it fits in the bed of a half-ton pickup without a ramp. For a shop that needs hydraulic power occasionally rather than continuously, it is the least machine you have to buy and store.
