The Utili-Track picks up the 512 Hz sonde in your camera head and walks you to it — directional arrows, automatic depth to 25 ft, and a current reading, so you are marking a spot on the lawn instead of guessing at a trench.
It also traces live lines without a transmitter: passive power, radio and CATV frequencies, which is what keeps a shovel out of somebody else's utility. On a crowded easement that is the difference between a morning's work and a locate ticket.
High-contrast LCD you can still read in direct sun, balanced for a long day on your feet, and built to pick out one active frequency in a congested corridor. USA made. Six C-cell batteries included.
