The Axiom Precision 2X2 (stock number AX1-101) is a compact CNC router table with a 24 x 24 in. cutting area and 5.5 in. of Z-axis travel. It runs a 1 HP air-cooled spindle at up to 24,000 RPM on 115V single-phase power.
Precision ball screws and prismatic linear guides on the X, Y and Z axes give a rated accuracy of +/-0.006 in., with travel speeds up to 200 inches per minute. It is suited to wood, foam and plastic work in a small shop, classroom or studio.
Rigid Frame in a Small Footprint
A steel frame and extruded aluminum gantry keep the machine stiff while the overall size stays at 31.5 x 36 x 31.5 in.
Software Included
UCCNC control software and Vectric VCarve Desktop (Windows compatible) ship with the machine.

What power does the 2X2 need?
115V single phase; the manual calls for a 15 A circuit and notes the 2X2 is not compatible with standard GFCI outlets.
Does it come with software?
Yes. UCCNC control software and Vectric VCarve Desktop (Windows compatible) are included. VCarve Pro, Aspire and PhotoVCarve are available separately.
What materials can it cut?
Axiom positions the 2X2 for wood, foam and plastic.
How big a workpiece can it machine?
