The ATM-27-1000 is an air-powered articulating tapping arm for repetitive tapping in fabrication and machining shops. It taps holes from 0.11 to 1 in. (3 to 25.4 mm), rated on mild steel, and reaches from 3.9 to 39.3 in.
The pneumatic spindle runs from 70 to 220 RPM with a forward lever and a reverse button. It needs an air supply of 16 CFM at 90 PSI and should never exceed 135 PSI.
Counterbalanced Arm
A stretch arm and slanted arm with gas counterbalance springs carry the spindle, so the operator guides it without holding its weight.
Six Tap Holders Included
Tap holders in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 7/8 in. sizes come with the arm.
