The BB-4816M-V2 is a 48 in. electromagnetic sheet metal brake. Instead of a fixed upper beam, an electromagnet clamps the work under removable clamp bars with 6 tons of force, running on 220V, single-phase power.
It bends 16 ga. mild steel or 20 ga. stainless steel from 0 to 180°. Because the clamping bars are open-ended, box depth is unlimited, so enclosed boxes and deep channels can be formed.
Segmented Clamp Bars
Long, narrow, notched and segmented clamp bars are supplied, so the brake can be set up for straight bends or for boxes and pans.
Foot Switch Operation
A foot switch energizes the magnet, leaving both hands free to position and bend the sheet.
