Baileigh BS-128M Portable Horizontal Metal Cutting Band Saw, 5-Inch Round Capacity, 110V
The BS-128M is a compact metal-cutting band saw on a wheeled steel stand, sized for small fab shops, maintenance crews and mobile work. It cuts 5 in. round and 5 x 6 in. rectangular stock at 90 degrees and runs on a 3/4 HP, 110V motor.
The swivel head miters from 60 degrees left to 45 degrees right without moving the stock. A closed-circuit hydraulic cylinder controls the head's descent, and the blade runs at 78, 154 or 200 fpm.
Hydraulic Descent Control
A control valve on the hydraulic cylinder sets how fast the head comes down, giving even feed pressure from cut to cut.
Swivel-Head Mitering
The head swivels for angled cuts, so the stock stays clamped in the vise while you change the angle.

What power does the BS-128M need?
It is wired for 110V, 60 Hz single-phase power. The 3/4 HP motor draws 10 A, and the manual calls for a time-delay fuse or breaker rated slightly above full-load current.
What can it cut?
Up to 5 in. round or 5 x 6 in. rectangular at 90 degrees, 3-3/4 in. round or 3 x 3.7 in. rectangular at 45 degrees, and 1-3/4 in. round or 1.75 x 2.19 in. rectangular at 60 degrees.
What blade does it use?
A 1/2 x 0.025 x 64-1/2 in. blade. A general-purpose blade comes with the saw; other tooth counts are ordered separately.
