The DDTM-4840-HD is an enclosed downdraft table for production grinding and sanding, pulling dust down through a grated electro-plated steel top. A 2 HP TEFC motor with an aluminum impeller moves 1350 CFM on 3-phase power.
The 48 x 40 in. work area supports up to 1543 lb evenly distributed over 80-100% of the surface. Air passes through three filter stages: an aluminum pre-filter, two pulse-jet cleaned fire-resistant cartridges and a HEPA filter rated 99.99% at 0.3 micron.
Three-Stage Filtration
The washable aluminum pre-filter, 107.6 sq. ft. of cartridge media and a 134 sq. ft. HEPA filter capture progressively finer particles.
Booth-Style Enclosure
Side and back panels, a top-mounted work light and two 110V outlets turn the table into a self-contained grinding station.

Baileigh downdraft table questions
What power does the DDTM-4840-HD need?
3-phase, 60Hz power: the manual's spec table lists 230V and its electrical section lists 220V. The work light and outlet box need a separate 110V supply. A dedicated circuit with a time-delay fuse or breaker is recommended.
Does it need compressed air?
Yes. The cartridge filters are cleaned by pulse jet, using 60-90 psi shop air (90 psi maximum) through a 1/4 in. PT port. A regulator is recommended.
How much weight can the table support?
1543 lb when the load is spread over 80-100% of the surface. A concentrated load on 10% of the surface is rated at 192 lb.
How do I know when to clean the filters?
The differential pressure gauge reads 2-4 in. of water in normal operation. Above 6 in., the filters need cleaning or replacement.
What is the warranty?
