The Baileigh HB-9612 is a hand-operated straight leaf brake with a 96 in. bend length, built for heavier sheet work in fabrication and HVAC shops. It needs no electrical power and sits on two welded steel floor stands.
It bends 12 ga. mild steel or 16 ga. stainless steel across the full 8 ft, from 0 to 135 degrees, with a 6 in. box depth. Two adjustable counterweight assemblies balance the bending leaf, and the shipping weight is 2,640 lb.
Adjustable Counterweights
Two counterweight assemblies can be set low for light gauge and high for heavier gauge to balance the bending leaf.
Setback and Crowning Adjustment
Setback knobs set the gap for material thickness, and center truss nuts adjust crowning of the leaf.
