The PL-714VS-V2 is a compact bench top lathe for turning small parts in shops, schools, maintenance departments and prototyping. It swings 7 in. over the bed, holds 13.58 in. between centers and runs on 115V single-phase power.
A 1/2 HP DC motor gives variable spindle speed from 0 to 3000 RPM, shown on a digital speed readout. It cuts inch threads from 12 to 52 TPI in 18 steps and metric pitches from 0.4 to 2.0 mm.
