The Baileigh PR-10500-4 is a hydraulic four roll plate roll with a 120 in. (10 ft.) bending length and 1/2 in. mild steel capacity. It is powered by a 10 HP motor on 480V 3-phase power.
Two hydraulic motors turn the two central rolls through planetary gearboxes, and the plate stays pinched between them for the whole cycle. That lets the leading edge be pre-bent and the body and trailing edge rolled in one direction in a single pass.
Orbital Front Rolls
The front rolls have their own hydraulic lifters that move in an orbital path, and a torsion bar system keeps them parallel to the top roll.
Readouts and Part Removal
Two DROs on the movable operator console show the front and back roll positions, and a hydraulic drop yoke lets the top roll lift for removing finished parts.
