The RD-1000M is a mechanical radial drill press for drilling large workpieces in fabrication and production shops. It drills up to 1.57 in. in mild steel, reaches from 7.8 to 39.3 in. from the column to the spindle center and runs on 220V three-phase power.
A 2 HP spindle motor drives an MT4 spindle through 6 speeds from 75 to 1220 RPM, with 3 power feeds from 0.0039 to 0.0098 in./rev. The arm rotates 360 degrees and is raised and lowered by its own motor.

The power down-feed holds a consistent feed rate for steady drilling depth, with up to 1,416 lbf of feed force.
