The RDB-150-AS is a low-pressure hydraulic rotary draw bender on 115V single-phase power, with an auto-stop that ends the bend at a preset angle. It bends 2 in. Schedule 40 mild steel pipe and 2.5 in. OD x .125 in. wall mild steel tube, with centerline radii from 0.5 in. to 8 in.

A 2 HP motor drives the hydraulic system, and the machine can bend past 180 degrees in one motion. The cart base rolls on two 8 in. rubber wheels and two 4 in. casters for moving around the shop.

Auto-Stop Programmer

Set the pointer on the rotating degree scale to your target angle plus springback, and a limit switch stops rotation when it is reached.

Quick-Release Counter Die

The quick-release counter die system speeds up loading and unloading material.

How does the auto-stop work?

You rotate the lower degree scale so its pointer sits at the target angle plus springback (for a 100-degree bend with 5 degrees of springback, set 105). A roller limit switch stops rotation when it reaches the detent. It works only while bending material under pressure.
