The Baileigh SH-5208-HD is a heavy-duty hydraulic shear with a 52 in. maximum shear length. It is rated for 8 ga. mild steel or 12 ga. stainless steel and runs on 220V three-phase power.
It cycles at 30 to 42 strokes per minute and handles material down to 24 ga. The front gate is 39.37 in., the back gate is 23.62 in., and the hydraulic system holds 28 gal.
Hydraulic Hold-Downs
Eight hydraulic hold-down cylinders with rubber pads clamp the sheet along the blade.
Variable Rake and Blade Gap
The blade angle adjusts from 1/2 to 2 degrees with increase/decrease pushbuttons, and a manual handle sets blade clearance.

220V, three phase, 60Hz. The customer supplies the power cord, and the manual calls for a time-delay fuse or breaker rated slightly above full-load current.
How thick a sheet can it cut?
Up to 8 ga. mild steel or 12 ga. stainless steel across 52 in., and down to 24 ga.
What is included?
The manual back gauge, squaring arm with scale and stop, front support arm with stop, foot pedal pedestal with E-stop, 4 leveling pads and a toolbox.
