Baileigh SH-5214 52-Inch Hydraulic Sheet Metal Shear, 14-Gauge Mild Steel, 220V 1Ph

The Baileigh SH-5214 is a hydraulic sheet metal shear with a 52 in. maximum shear length. It cuts up to 14 ga. mild steel or 18 ga. stainless steel and runs on 220V single-phase power through a 3 HP motor.

It cycles at 35 strokes per minute and handles material down to 24 ga. Front and back gate lengths are both 24 in., the blade angle is 1 degree, and the hydraulic system holds 17 gal. of oil.

Three Operating Modes

A selector switches between single stroke, inch (step-down) and auto, where the blade keeps cycling while the foot pedal is held down.

Multi-Edge Blades

The blades are high carbon, high chrome alloy tool steel. The top blade has two usable edges and the bottom blade has four, so they can be turned before replacement.
