Baileigh SW-22M Manual Ironworker, 4 x 5/16 In. Flat Bar, 2.36 In. Angle Capacity
The SW-22M is a lever-operated ironworker that shears flat bar, plate, angle, T-bar, round and square stock without any electrical hookup. It cuts flat bar up to 4 x 5/16 in. and angle up to 2.36 x 2.36 x 1/4 in.
Round bar capacity is 5/8 in., square bar is 0.787 in., and plate up to 1/4 in. thick, all in mild steel rated at 64,000 PSI tensile. The machine uses a 7 in. blade and must be bolted to a bench, table or floor before use.
Two Leverage Positions
The supporting shaft fits either of two holes in the connecting plate, so the operator can choose the leverage needed for the material being cut.
Adjustable Hold-Down
A hold-down bar is set to the stock thickness to keep plate and strip level against the cutting surface during the cut.

Does the SW-22M need electricity?
No. It is operated entirely by hand lever and has no electrical connection.
Does it need to be mounted?
Yes. The manual says to bolt it firmly to a table, bench or the floor before use, drilling through the mounting surface. Mounting hardware is supplied by the customer.
Can it punch holes?
No, the SW-22M is a shear only. The SW-22M-P adds a punch station and punch and die sets.
What is the warranty?
1 year (Baileigh); included die sets, tooling and blades 45 days.
