The VM-1054-3 is a variable-speed vertical milling machine for machine shops and fabrication work. It has a 54 x 10 in. table rated for 550 lbs and a 3 HP spindle motor running on 220V 3-phase power.
The NT #40 spindle runs from 80 to 3800 RPM through a Yaskawa inverter, with 5 in. of quill travel and three spindle feed rates. Manual travel is 35.43 in. on X, 15.75 in. on Y and 16 in. on Z.
Power Feeds on Three Axes
X, Y and Z are all power-fed, with 32.25 in. of powered X travel, and a two-axis digital readout shows table position.
Shop-Ready Systems
An air-powered draw bar, a flood coolant pump and a one-shot lubrication system come fitted to the machine.
