The VM-942-1 is a vertical milling machine with a 9 x 42 in. table, a 40-taper spindle and a 3 HP motor wired for 220V single-phase, 60Hz power. Spindle speed is variable up to 4,200 RPM.
It is equipped with a 3-axis digital readout and power feeds on X, Y and Z. Power-feed travel is 28.5 in. (X), 12 in. (Y) and 16 in. (Z), and the table is rated for 770 lb.
Swiveling Head
The head swivels 45 degrees front and rear and 90 degrees right and left, with 12 in. of ram cross travel.
Protected Ways and Coolant
Flat and pleated way covers ship with the machine, along with a coolant system with drip tray.
