The VM-942E-1 is a knee-type vertical mill with a 9 x 42 in. table and an R8 spindle, driven by a 3 HP motor on 220V single-phase power. It comes equipped with a 2-axis digital readout, power feed, coolant system and work lamp.
Eight spindle speeds run from 80 to 2,760 RPM with 5 in. of quill travel. The table travels 25.25 in. (X) and 12.12 in. (Y), the knee travels 14.675 in. (Z), and the table is rated for 750 lb.
Swiveling Head and Ram
The head swivels 45 degrees front and rear and 90 degrees right and left, and the ram offers 13.5 in. of travel.
Built-In Shop Features
The manual lists a one-shot oiler, spindle brake, auto quill feed and emergency stop alongside the DRO and coolant system.

What power does the VM-942E-1 need?
220V, single phase, 60Hz. The 3 HP spindle motor is rated 18A, and the manual calls for a dedicated circuit connected by a certified electrician.
Does it come with a DRO and power feed?
Yes. The manual describes a 2-axis digital readout and a power feed as part of the machine.
Is a collet included?
No. The drawbar is supplied, but the manual states the collet is not included.
