The VM-949-3 is a vertical milling machine with a 9 x 49 in. table and an NST 40 spindle, driven by a 3 HP motor. Baileigh lists it as prewired for 220V three-phase service, with a Yaskawa inverter giving variable spindle speed from 60 to 4,200 RPM.

Baileigh vertical mill questions
What power does the VM-949-3 need?
220V three-phase, 60Hz; the manual lists 25A. No cord or plug is supplied, so an electrician wires the customer's cord to the terminals in the electrical enclosure.
Does the air drawbar need shop air?
Yes. The manual calls for a 90 psi air supply, which is not included.
Which axes have power feed?
The manual describes table power feed on X and Y and a quill power feed.
What warranty does it carry?
