The middle plate in the Beton range and the one most crews end up owning — a 16.5 by 21.4 in. plate at 65 to 82 feet per minute. Wide enough to cover a trench or a patio base quickly, compact enough to get between forms and around obstacles.
Two build details worth the money: a cast aluminium guard over the clutch, which is the part that gets destroyed when a machine tips, and a ductile iron base rather than cast — ductile flexes under impact instead of cracking. The frame fully encloses the Honda GX160.
Climbs a 35% grade, which covers most embankment and swale work.
