The BRPC105H cleans the crack properly in one pass. The 8 in. wire knot brush spins down into the joint, pulls out debris and old material, and destroys any vegetation that has rooted in it — which a compressed-air blowout will not do. Cut, clean, fill: the cleaning step is the one that decides whether the repair lasts.
It is a walk-behind on steel-hubbed ball-bearing wheels, so the operator walks it along the joint rather than stooping with a hand tool. The Honda GX120 is small, light on fuel, and starts. At 85 lbs one person lifts it into a truck.
