Control joints have to be cut before the slab cracks on its own, and that window is measured in hours. A green saw is built to go into concrete while it is still curing — soft enough to cut, firm enough to hold an edge — which is exactly when a wet saw would tear the surface and a hand grinder would take all night.
The BRPCS110H takes a 10 in. blade on a standard 5/8 in. arbor and cuts to 3.25 in. deep. Beyond green-cut joints it handles light slab demolition in cured concrete and asphalt and decorative cutting in finished work, so it is not a one-job machine.
It is a dry-cut saw with a vacuum nozzle — no water tank, no slurry, no wet mess to squeegee off a finished floor. Hook a shop vac to the nozzle and the silica dust goes into the vacuum instead of into the operator, which is the part that matters for indoor and occupied-building work. The Honda GX200 with a cyclone air cleaner is specified for exactly this: a cyclone pre-cleaner is what keeps concrete dust out of the carburettor.
