Nine cubic feet is the largest drum in the line — enough to keep a finishing crew fed without a ready-mix truck and a minimum load charge. For footings, pads, piers and repair work, mixing on site is cheaper and you pour when you are ready, not when the truck arrives.
Steel drum, because concrete carries aggregate that would chew through poly. The engine is fully enclosed, which is what keeps cement dust out of a machine that lives in it.
